Karla Magruder

Founder | Board Chair

Karla Magruder is the Founder and Board Chair of Accelerating Circularity, leading the organization’s efforts to transition the textile industry to circular, textile-to-textile systems. With over 35 years of global experience across the textile supply chain, she previously founded Fabrikology International, advising NGOs and global brands on material strategies.

Karla has held key industry leadership roles, including serving as a Board Member of Textile Exchange (2016–2022), and currently sits on the Cotton Board (since 2023) and Walmart’s Textile Lighthouse Advisory Board (since 2022). She also contributed to the UNFCCC Fashion Industry Charter Steering Committee. A sought-after speaker, she was recognized with the 2023 B.A.U.M. | Environment and Sustainability Award.
